Official Announcement – Vlog #1
Art as activism. Prints with purpose. A living commitment to protect what remains.
In this first official vlog announcement, I am officially introducing The Wild Land Project, a conservation initiative rooted in real land protection, radical transparency, and the belief that what we protect begins with what we notice.
My art is my activism. Every Eco-Sam print is created with one purpose in mind: to fund the protection of at-risk habitats and preserve biodiversity for the generations to come.
50% of all net profits from Eco-Sam prints are contributed directly to The Wild Land Project.
The remaining 50% sustains the operation, research, and long-term development of this conservation work.
This is not a campaign. It is a growing, living commitment.
Why The Wild Land Project Exists
I have been photographing nature for most of my life. Years ago, I experimented with selling fine-art prints, and the support I received was deeply meaningful. Still, something felt incomplete. I had not yet found the true purpose behind my work.
That clarity arrived after moving into an ecological corridor in Belize. Over the past year alone, I have watched thousands of acres of surrounding jungle be cut and burned. Each clearing fractures ecosystems, displaces wildlife, and permanently alters the unseen root networks that allow forests to communicate, regenerate, and survive.
During a conversation with a friend about this devastation, he said something simple that changed everything:
“Why don’t you buy land to protect it?”
I didn’t have the personal finances to protect land outright. But I did have a camera, a voice, and a growing community who cared. That was enough to begin.
And so, The Wild Land Project was born.
What The Wild Land Project Will Do
The mission of The Wild Land Project is to:
Protect at-risk habitats
Preserve biodiversity
Prevent ongoing wildland loss
Work toward permanent land protection through future trust structures and conservation partnerships
The project is currently in the research and fund-building phase. As funds grow, I am actively researching:
Local and regional conservation groups already protecting land
Ethical and legal land acquisition pathways
Long-term stewardship strategies
The process of forming a future conservation trust
Transparent donation systems for public support
Every step of this process will be documented publicly through the Wild Land Project vlog series.
Why Eco-Sam Exists
Previously, my work lived under the name Mountain Valley Moments. While deeply personal, the name no longer reflected the full scope of the mission that had formed within me.
Through a life-changing collaboration with Sami Hobbs, Eco-Sam was born. Eco-Sam is not simply a brand. It is the embodiment of everything I have been building toward for the last decade: art rooted in truth, sustainability, and real planetary impact.
Prints With Purpose is the first living expression of this vision.

Each Eco-Sam print supports conservation through a clear, transparent model:

All prints are produced through my partner The Print Space, a museum-grade fine-art printer aligned with my sustainability values. They specialize in archival giclée printing with artisan handmade frames and a net-carbon-zero production process.
This is not mass production. Each image is refined by hand for color accuracy, longevity, and print integrity as a true fine-art piece.
